Armidale Celtic Club

Do you love music? Do you love Celtic/Folk Music?

"The Celts constitute a branch of the Indo-European family and include Irish, Scottish, Gaelic, Welsh, Breton, Manx, Cornish, and several extinct pre-Roman languages such as Gaulish. Their music has spread throughout the world and is enjoyed by thousands of people. Come along to our group and enjoy the haunting, envigorating and sometimes frivolous music of the Celts & their descendants."

We play every Wednesday evening from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

Featuring "The Parson & The Peas", a flute & Irish Whistle Trio & Bouzouki playing a selection of folk music and original compositions...

We'd love to hear from interested musicians and singers with a passion for folk/celtic music who would like to join in, gain experience in playing in a group or performing.

The songs contained here were painstakingly and lovingly transcribed from recordings of childhood songs remembered by Paul Michael 'Chuck' Brown (formerly Nettleton) and compiled into three four session books. They are presented here for your enjoyment. If you enjoy these songs, please support our You Tube Channel by subscribing.
If you have a song that you would like transcribed to sheet music or you would like an original composition for a special event/occasion, please contact us below.
